Your trips: pay, receipts, and more

Sign in to Your trips with a code. It shows:

• Coming up, and Past and cancelled: each trip with when, how many, and what's paid and due, with Pay now while something is due before the trip, and Details for its own page.
• Your requests: each guide you sent one to, and where it stands.
• Your group chats: the last 30 days of messages, and a box to write to the group.
• Your numbers and emails, What Barb remembers, and signing out.

Details on a trip opens its own page:

• Where and when: the time, your group, where to meet with a map link, the National Weather Service forecast in the week before (for trips in the US), and the number to text your guide.
• From your guide: their notes, what to bring, what's included, and gear.
• Before the trip: how many have signed the waiver, with Sign the waiver, and the group chat's line.
• Payments: the total, what's paid, refunded, and due, every payment, refund, and tip, Receipt, and the cancellation terms you booked with.
• Change or cancel: see Change or cancel a trip.
• Who's coming: see Add who's coming.
• After the trip, Tip your guide and Your review: see After your trip.

1. 1Step 1: In Your trips, find the trip and choose Pay now (it's on the trip's page under Payments too).
2. 2Step 2: Pay by card at Stripe's secure checkout, which opens straight from the page.
3. 3Step 3: Once you've paid, you're back on the trip's page, which says Payment received. Thank you. It can take a minute to show here.

The pay links in texts and emails from your guide's Barb open on barbed.ai, the booking service your guide uses, and go on to the same checkout. Either way, your guide's Barb then tells you it came through, by text or email:

On a trip's page, under Payments, Receipt opens a plain receipt: who you paid, for what, every payment, refund, and tip, and the booking number. To print it or save it as a PDF, use your browser's print command.

If someone added you to their trip with your email or mobile, sign in with it, and the trip shows as booked by them. You see the trip and who's coming, never their payments.
